If we develop a good story ill be more than happy to help make the scene and basically I need to play in it cuz im motherfucking famous bitch =P Jk but I'll be happy to help.

We should go far away from Shadow of Israphel and we should use more of the concept of factions that we have. Don't want to be accused of stealing ideas...

Im thinking that it should start with rivalry between the 3 factions at first. We could kinda say Nords are north, Deserts south and tribe west and then there would be some ''evil'' spreading from the east and all the factions join powers to stop that evil from spreading. We could just portray the evil as a dark castle somewhere with no leaves on trees around it and no grass and stuff, then basically this ''no green but dark'' area would be spreading towards our factions, killing plants and animals and changing water into lava...

Each faction would then choose their best heroes to send them on a quest to stop this great evil.

(we would need 1 player portraying the hero of each faction, the dark lord thats spreading the evil and some people that our heroes meet on the way to stop the evil) We could also make our heroes encounter atlantis and dwarves and get joined by their heroes, and they could also, for example go on some mountain or something to ask some wise old dude for advice.

Im imagining they would need to find some spring or well or crystal or something that would be the only way of destroying the dark lord.

Ideally we need at least one character from each faction but no more than 2 people from a faction. We will need some good animators to make cut scenes. We should make a seperate topic about this in discussions.

May I suggest that in this or another thread, everyone says who they think should be the one member from each faction. So for example, I could say I wanted D3 from Nords and Targus from Tribes and either Gobbo or Tissue from Deserts. That way its set who is doing it, so if the building begins, those 3 people won't be allowed on the build site so that they wont know what is happening.

Also... if the story with the evil east side that is spreading is gonna be it, then there should be some scene in it with a big battle in defence of the cities when the heroes are away to destroy the dark lord and when the evil almost spreaded across all land.
Then the only way for the cities to communicate and help is via underground tunnels and trenches.

the lands and cities will turn into war-zones and eventually the evil will run over the cities and there will be some war/survival scenes like the one from the Mass Effect 3 trailer, only with bows and swords: (imagine the destroyed city and chaos as in the trailer)

hmm, I like how this is getting along! Here's an idea from me... lets try to put in The Cowalition somehow... just for lulz

also from past movie experience... it must be funny and not DEAD serious. yes it can be serious but try for example to make one of the heroes silly (but make him/her believable)

Trust me, I went to media-school, If you are gonna make it serious you MUST do it really well and put a lot of work into it (and then you'll end up with a product that you have to be 100% dedicated to).

skype might not work out with me, but any ways I'd like to have a role as one of the characters but I wouldn't mind to be someone who creates the puzzles and story lines.

Anyways I think we should create a subject for the storyline and we can vote on it. Anyone can give their ideas.

Also we need someone to do animations and others to make the puzzles and all the villages and whatnot the characters will discover.Finally we need people to be the characters.

yeah... there needs to be some sort of guide character that knows the way to go and what will happen. They can participate in building and stuff and their purpose is to make sure the heros don't get off track.

Foe efficiency and whatever the people who play the characters should be able to help build stuff as long as it doesn't relate or give them any clue about what might happen in the future.

NPC mod's don't work that way, the character has to be pre-existing to be able to have a skin

maybe there is a mod that allows you to change the name plate floating above your head. Then the persons skin could be changed so they would look like the character. Then whoever the person is can interact with the characters under an alias.

Nameplates are hard coded into minecraft, I doubt there is a way to do that.

Well, in the yogscast's (no, i'm not a fan D3) Shadow of israphel, the other characters had names like "Skylord_Lysander", "Old_Peculier", "Father_Braeburn" etc. (I just started watching after watching a few later episodes) and i don't think those names are their real minecraft names.
So I think it should be possible. (if they didn't buy minecraft twice for the names)

They are partners and earn far more anyway... And why are you so angry about being called a fan anyway?

What we could do is make the cameraman not one of the characters and he should just use F1 so names arent seen. Characters will all introduce themselves and we sohuld all be speaking so no chat would be written in game. Makes it a lot more profesional.
