What about we make an official yt channel of let's plays from users on the server and every user that makes vids creates sort of an own series, so we have the server from different points of view? I'd be in for "Double D - Desert Diaries" or something similar.

As long as proper credit is given in the video (description), you guys are free to use any of the music hosted on www.decibert.eu, the site of the recording studio I (used to) work for. MP3 V0 copies of almost all material is available for download. pop/indie/funk/folk/rock/electronic. All under Creative Commons of course.

I'm in... sounds like a good idea tissuemaster.
And offcourse a video on it.
Maybe even a whole series, with the voice acting and the story line and such. (awesome )
Maybe everyone should get a skin for use in the video and a unique role in the story.
Something like in the yogscast's "Shadow of Israphel", but then more rp'ish.

If this is gonna happen, then there's gonna be so much awesomesauce...

I kinda had shadow of israphel in mind when i posted it. Maybe it could be aboutan unknown faction that the characters must discover.

Anyways, im definitely in.

O.K I'm going to expand on the possible story line. This would be the first episode which is more introductory than anything else.

Prologue: In a scientific laboratory, a scientist and his assistant are performing an experiment. They create a nether portal. They go in and you hear them screaming and ghast sounds.

(This part should be animated)

Scene 1: The leaders of three mighty nations (Desert, Nord and Tribe) meet at a conference to discuss a spreading evil. One of them refers to ancient lore of a myth about an ancient civilization (Dwarfs or Atlantis). This civilization is said to possess a device that can fight the evil. They decide that each nation will give its a mightiest adventurers to a expedition to try to find this lost civilization.

Next couple of scenes: Introducing the characters

Last Scene: The character meet each other and unravel their first clue about the mysterious civilization.

What about we first make a gigantic map with cities and long gravel roads and villages and such.
Actually make the whole map for the story...

I made up a story too:

What about if the story begins with a mining squad who have been send out to find a myth called "the void".
Once after a lot of days of mining, they found it... and suddenly they hear a rumbling-like sound and slowly the ground beneath them starts to disappear.
They run for their lives, but the spread of the disappearing land is too fast and they fall into it, screaming and yelling for help.

Then the screen slowly fades to white and back to normal and they woken up.
It's raining and when they look around they're in a city/village, totally detroyed. (roads blown up, houses half collapsed)

That's the beginning...
What should follow after that is a long journey through unknown lands and throughout the journey they will meet people that, at first sight, are just normal people, but later on they will notice that there's somthing fishy about them, and eventually they will discover that they are in another demension and that the only way back is through the portal...
Only now they just need to find out where it is.

They will also meet someone at the beginning who will guide the travellers on their journey back home.

The question is, who can and who can't be trusted.
An as the progress through the story, they will be more and more confronted with that question.
