We do use sand for glass though.

So little update. The arena, (a joint project between myself and wilson, and of course D3 when there's a job for him), has been started across the road from the council hall, the area has been flattened and the tree farm has been lowered to the road level.

The arena will be made mostly out of snow (yea I know crazy right? a building in the NORD lands made of snow?) and will have cobblestone and pine log accents on it eventually. We of course ask everyone to not disturb the building site so the work will not be delayed.

I also had our friendly neighborhood Witter had a bit of land for us behind and around the mine just so we have a bit more room to expand if we so wish.

The council is also now in place so if you need help, just ask a councilmen, if you don't know, the council members are as follows: JohnTB, Decibert, D3yci, Lolanthyer, and Goldmarine9.

Since the majority of the time it is D3 and I on, we will probably be able to provide more help than others since we are around more.

Also I believe we still need a national monument in order to reach metro and the king's keep, that may be wrong as I don't have the requirements memorized. So if you have any ideas, we are glad to hear them because I have none whatsoever.

Just a heads upon stopping snow from falling on the road if you haven't already, But torches under the road. This idea would take a lot of torches but would allow for better looking roads.

Well, there is lots of coal and lots of trees too, so that wouldn't be a problem.

We thought about that, but the problem is that you see the smoke through the ground and that doesn't look very nice.

Also, a much better approach without torches, is to ask people nicely to clean up the mess after it has snowed. Seen how fast shovels work on snow, this shouldn't be a problem. (we could provide shovels for this)

Nope, not really... I still don't know why it's taking so long for the server to come online again.
Anyone has a answer to that?

Yeah we pretty much already solved that, thereby also preventing mobs from spawning on the roads themselves.
