For now I want to get that youtube series started... it's taking forever.

Can i be in the youtube series? I made a video on youtube, but i never maked more videos and there was a problem with recorder: it doesn't ecord my voice :/ So i would love to join the series! ^^

Download/install your recorder again and be sure to enable the voice recording, it could be off.

for now we can just all play around and record us playing as we prepare for server launch / series launch. could also be used to "ease" into the series.

Because most of the members who are still here are the most dedicated members we have on our server, so I don't think this server will easily die.

the only real problem is the amount of time it takes to maintain the server, and costs of a really good 24/7 server itself.

There's some hosts that aren't too terribly expensive per month that you can rune 24/7. It all really depends on how many slots you want.

I'm aware of that, However I do not have time to work currently seeing how I am in college full time

I tried to re-install it, but it didn't work -.- There is only one sound option: sound on and off and when i turn it on, it till doesn't record my voice, but it doe's record the sound from my computer so i can have a computer beside me with skype and skype on the computer that i'm recording on. That should work, right?

I would love to run a server for you guys, but for some reason it doesn't work... because I made a server earlier, but when someone tried to connect... they couldn't.
I even tried it with the most noob way you could think of, hamachi and default server software, and still it didn't work.

If you have a simple solution for this, please say so, but I think it may be the my router that does weird stuff... and all my router are belong to my father (reference here).

So Im actually thinking about buying a server for games and such...
so I might be able to host ragnarok

It will be a pretty good rig, but i dont have a place to connect it to the internet... my apartments internet is really good but i dont know what type of router it is...

That would help a lot :p After I'm done my 3 year program (2 if I get a job from co-op) I'll be moving into Toronto and once I get settled in I can actually purchase a server if need be, it's just right now I don't have time to work to buy one.

I am moving to a new place where I might get a 60/6 Mbit connection, buuuut I hear bad things about this ISP's routers so I'm still trying to find out whether I can work with them or not (being a very heavy downloader I need my internets to be unthrottled and portforwarded). I only know of one ISP in the Netherlands that can really be trusted with my connection, but they can only deliver 12/1 Mbit on my new address...

Maybe you can select your mic somewhere in the options... not selecting a mic recording option, but selecting the mic you use. (I read that somewhere, I haven't got wegame myself, so I can't check it)

It is still okay to be able to record in game noises though, because if we just do speaking records, than we will hardly be able to hear the in-game noises.
