Where be the dwarves?

Because the dwarf faction was poorly thought out by purple.

Unfortunately, As far as I am aware, The faction is unavailable. It may come back round 2, but I think Mr. Moo Has decided against it. (Only as far as I can guess, no source)

True True. Digging those rooms sucked beyond belief. Especially the monument room. We never got to finish. Digging a single 22highx1 Square took me so flippin long. Then we had the water problem.

Never will understand why we weren't allowed world edit. Oh well, It being hard was a quality control for members I guess

EDIT: As in the Admins using world edit to make the area, giving it to regular users is asking for griefers.

Moo did help once with world edit that i know of. He filled up a huge chunk of a sea that one of our rooms happened to be right under and had its roof in the water.

Yes, he filled an ocean. With smoothstone. Imagine digging out nothing but smoothstone, no caves, no ores, no dirt, just smoothstone. Still beats water, but yeah.
I'm convinced a dwarven faction works. I am also convinced the dwarven faction would need to be balanced better (ie given more powerful tools, or having more members than the other factions). This faction is the hardest to balance besides Atlantis, so I can see why it's not included. But I did like being a dwarf.

I could imagine digging all of that out. but if the dwarves do come back, or any other faction that is underground, should get access to diamiond picks while others wont, giving them an advantage.

That would make a great deal for the dwarves since they'd be the only faction that could mine obsidian.

if they were to come back being the only one's with diamond picks all the sand from the map would have to be removed, along with all the tree's in neutral. Diamond picks for dwarves only is not going to happen.

That's why I'd give them a supply of gold picks, so they get them for free but others are still allowed to use them.

€dit: Also, next flaw in the dia pick system: We'd have to call an admin everytime Obsidian casting goes wrong...
